Suspicious husband wears burkha to stalk wife

They fell in love and married five years ago, but things did not turn out as they had hoped. The husband started suspecting his wife of infidelity. 

As his doubts about her grew, he even wore a burkha and followed her to her college to find out whether she was cheating on him. But he ended up being caught by the police for this diguise.

The couple is from Sherpur but live in Jamalpur. They came to Ananda Mohan University College together for the wife’s honours final viva exam. After dropping his wife off at the college gate, the man left. Then within an hour, he was caught by the members of district detective branch police.

One of the employees of the college noticed the burkha-clad person emerging from the men's restroom. He informed the principal Narayan Chandra Bhoumik who called called police, according to several teachers of the college.

The man did not look like a member of a gang. It was apparent that his motive was to follow his wife, said the officer-in-charge of district Detective Branch (DB) police Shah Kamal Akand.

"We did not inquire about in which department his wife was studying,” a teacher of the college said, adding, “The police are investigating the matter"

The cell phone of Narayan Chandra Bhoumik was switched off.

The DB police were interrogating the man, till this report was being prepared.
