4 ‘militants’ detained in city

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) from different parts of the city early Friday.

Tipped off, a team of RAB-1 conducted drive in different parts of the city and arrested them, said assistant director of RAB-1 senior ASP Mizanur Rahman.

The arrestees were involved in a plot to kill some renowned personalities and online activists.

A press briefing will be held over the arrest today (Friday), he said.
