Jatiya Oikya Front will form a human chain wearing black badge in the capital on Wednesday, protesting what it said ‘vote robbery’ in the 30 December election, reports UNB.

The programme will begin at 3pm in front of the National Press Club and conclude at 4 pm with the participation of Oikya Front leaders and activists.

Senior leaders of the alliance will address the programme, said Gano Forum training affairs secretary Rafiqul Islam Pathik.

On 31 January last, Jatiya Oikya Front spokesman Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the programme after a meeting of the steering committee of the alliance at Kamal Hossain’s Motijheel chamber.

The alliance will hold a public hearing with the participation of Oikya Front candidates and victimised voters on 24 February on the same ground.

Jatiya Oikya Front, a platform of five parties, including BNP and Gano Forum, turned down the 30 December election results, bringing the allegations of massive ‘vote robbery’.
