Road accident kills 2

Two people were killed and eight others injured after a truck hit a human hauler on Chittagong-Teknaf highway near Rabeta Hospital in Ramu upazila on Friday morning, reports UNB.

One of the deceased is Mahmududl Haq, 32.

Highway police said the accident took place around 8:30am when a goods-laden truck hit the human hauler from behind, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and eight others injured.

The injured were taken to Sadar Hospital.
