A mild earthquake shook different parts of Chattogram and its adjoining Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Feni districts on Sunday morning, reports UNB.

The tremor, measuring 4.9 magnitude on the Richter scale, was felt at 8:58am, said the Met Office adding that the epicentre of the earthquake was in the border area with Mizoram of India.

However, no damage or casualty was reported until filing of the report.
