Law enforcers have cordoned off a Dubai-bound Biman Bangladesh airliner at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram, suspecting armed miscreants' presence inside the aircraft.

A passenger who was in the flight said the plane flew for Chattogram from Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 3:20pm on Sunday.

When the plane reached the Shah Amanat International Airport, all the passengers on board were brought out, he added.

"The passengers of the flight have been brought out safely," said Shakil Miraz, general manager (public relations) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

It could not be ascertained what could happened inside the plane as there are various rumours about the incident.
