578 to be recruited in first-class non-cadre posts

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Wednesday recommended recruiting 578 candidates of the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination in 78 categories with the status of first class non-cadre officials, reports UNB.

The recommendation has been made as per the amended Non-cadre Posts Recruitment Rules 2014, said a PSC release.

It has also published the registration numbers of the selected candidates for the posts on its website.

Of them, 150 have been selected as social service officers, while 52 as food controllers of Directorate General of Food, 23 as upazila/thana election officers of Election Commission Secretariat, 40 as sub-registrars and 31 as assistant directors of Department of Environment.

The results are available in the PSC website www.bpsc.gov.bd.

The final results of the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations were published on 12 June, 2018.
