Woman found dead

Police on Tuesday recovered an expatriate woman’s body from a septic tank of a technical college building at Tala in Satkhira.
Deceased Shahanara Begum was the wife of Shahidul Goldar, a Malaysian expatriate, and mother of two children.
Patkelghata police in-charge Mamunur Rashid said Shahanara went missing on 4 January from her father residence at Baghmara village of the upazila.
Local people found the body after a search inside the septic tank of a bathroom of Akhtaruzzaman Technical College at 2:30pm and informed police.
Later, law enforces went to the spot and recovered the body.
Police also detained the night guard of the institution for interrogation.
Police suspected that extra-marital affair or feud with in-laws might be the reason behind the murder.
