3 killed in Sirajganj road crash

Three people were killed and seven others injured in a road accident in the district's Shahjadpur upazila on Monday.

The deceased are Ibrahim Fakir, 50, Shahadat Hossain, 45, and Shamsul Islam, 35.

The accident took place when a truck collided head-on with a human hauler on the Nagarbari-Bogra highway, killing two on the spot.

The injured were rushed to Shahjadpur Upazila Complex, but one among them succumbed to his injuries on the way.

Three of the injured have been transferred to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital as there condition was critical.
