Younger brother Rashedul Hasan Raihan of the Feni madrasa student, who was sexually harassed, burned and finally dead, was admitted to a hospital in Feni on Friday night, reports news agency UNB.

Shocked Raihan, a tenth grader at Sonagazi Senior Fazil Madrasa, fainted several times before the burial of his sister on Thursday, the family members said.

He was repeatedly denying taking food due to his failure to bear the pain of his sister’s untimely death, they said.

On 6 April, Nusrat was set afire at an examination centre allegedly by people loyal to the principal of her madrasa after he was arrested and subsequently suspended as she had accused him of sexually harassing her.

Nusrat lost her battle for life on Wednesday night at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital.
