Three Bangladeshis held in Malaysia

As many as three Bangladeshi nationals among 16 have been arrested in separate raids at two online gambling dens in Cheras district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, reports thestar.com.

Quoting Cheras OCPD assistant commissioner Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon, the Malaysian media outlet says tipped-off, police from Cheras CID launched two raids at Taman Miharja at around 10pm on Tuesday (16 April).

"First we raided a premises on the first floor of a shoplot and arrested five players (two Bangladeshi and three Pakistani men) and a caretaker, also a Bangladesh national, aged from 21 to 41,” the assistant commissioner was quoted to have said.

"We have remanded all the suspects for further investigations," Mohamed Mokhsein was also quoted to have said.
