2 killed, 2 injured in city road crash

Two persons were killed while two others were injured in a road accident at Matsya Bhaban intersection in the capital's Shahbagh on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be traced immediately.

According to witnesses, there was a collision among two buses, two rickshaws and a car.

One of the buses was carrying office employees while the other was of Swadhin Paribahan.

A passenger of the Swadhin Paribahan bus, Monir Hossain said, following the accident he got down from the bus and saw a person under the bus while another was lying beside it. 

One of the deceased could be a rickshaw puller, he added.
Physicians declared the two dead around 7:45am after they were taken to the hospital, said Bachchu Miah, inspector of DMCH (Dhaka Medical College Hospital) police outpost, adding the two other injured were Sharif, 20, and Nure Alam, 30.
