Yaba pills found in dead body’s stomach

Doctors at the forensic department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Saturday found 11 small packets of contraband Yaba pills in the stomach of a man's dead body during it postmortem on Saturday, reports UNB.

Officer-in-charge of Motijheel police station Omar Faruk said locals found Julhas, 34, son of Akkas Mia of Kendua in Netrakona, in an unconscious state in front of Biswas Tower at Kamalapur around 5:00am on Friday.

Police rescued and then sent him to Mugda General Hospital where he died around 11:00pm on the same day and his body was sent to the DMCH for autopsy.

Julhas was an accused in two drug cases filed in Netrakona district, he said.
