BSF picks up Bangladeshi from Lalmonirhat border

Border Security Force (BSF) of India picked up a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Burimari border area of Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat on Wednesday morning, reports news agency UNB.
Sources at BGB said BSF men picked up Liton Mia, 18, son of Hafizur Rahman of Sreerampur village in the upazila around 4:00 am while he along with a group of cattle traders was going to Changrabad border near pillar No 843 in Koch Bihar district of West Bengal illegally.
Following the incident, BGB-15 of Lalmonirhat camp held a flag meeting with BSF-61 of Koch Bihar at Burimari zero point at 11:00 am.
In the meeting, BSF said that they, meanwhile, handed Liton over to Indian police, said Lt Col Golam Morshed, director of BGB Battalion-15.
