Prime minister Sheikh Hasina returned home on Saturday concluding her five-day official visit to China, reports UNB.

A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the prime minister and her entourage landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:40 pm.

During her visit, Sheikh Hasina attended the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dalianon 2 July as well as held talks with Chinese president Xi Jinping and prime minister Li Keqiang in Beijing on 4-5 July respectively.

She also held a meeting with Communist Party of China (CPC) Minister for International Affairs Song Tao.

The Chinese leaders expressed their interest to help Bangladesh in resolving the Rohingya crisis by approaching the Myanmar government and its leaders.

During her visit, Bangladesh and China signed nine instruments, including two loan agreements, for further strengthening cooperation on power, water resources, culture and tourism as well as for providing 2500 metric tonnes of rice for the displaced Rohingyas.
