Eid advance train ticket sale begins

Bangladesh Railway has started selling advance train tickets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, reports news agency UNB.

Tickets for 21 June journeys are available on Monday.

Each passenger will be able to buy a maximum of four tickets.

Huge crowd in long queues were seen at Kamalapur railway station on the first day for advance train tickets, reports UNB correspondent.

Around 30,000 tickets are made available than the normal day sale of train tickets, said Railway sources.

Tickets for 22 June will be available on Tuesday on the second day of sale while for 23 June on 14 June, for 24 June on 15 June and for 25 June on 16 June.

Besides, the return tickets for the journeys of 28 June will be available on 19 June, and for 29 June on 20 June, for 30 June on 21 June, for 1 July on 22 June and for 2 July on 23 June.
