Four killed as bus overturns

Four people were killed and 21 others injured as a bus overturned at Vatiapara intersection in Kashiani upazila on Dhaka-Khulna highway

in Gopalganj on Monday, reports UNB.

The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.

Md Azizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kashiani police station, said the bus overturned on the road as its driver lost control over the steering and hit a stationary truck in the area at 11:30am, leaving two people dead on the spot.

Two of the injured died on way to hospital.

Fire service and police rescued other injured passengers and admitted them to Kashiani Upazila Health Complex while five severely injured were taken to Faridpur Medical College and Hospital.
