Bullet-hit body found along India-Bangladesh border

The members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered the bullet-hit body of a young man from Charpara border along Daulatpur upazila of Kushtia on Sunday, reports UNB.

The deceased was Robi, 30, son of Janu Mandal of Haidarchar in the upazila.

Siraj Mandal, chairman of Ramkrishnapur union, claimed that the members of Indian border Security Force (BSF) of Bausmari camp opened fire on some Bangladeshi cattle traders while they were entering Bangladesh with cattle through the border, leaving Robi dead on the spot.

On the other hand, company commander of Mohishkundi BGB-47 subedar Jahangir Alam said Robi was killed in an attack by his rivals while fishing.
