Woman detained with 1000 yaba tablets

Police arrested a woman with 1000 yaba tablets, four bottles of phensidyl at Kukna village in sadar upazila here on Sunday night.

The arrestee is Mita Begum, 26, of the area.

Tariqul Islam, additional superintendent of Magura police, said on secret information that Mita had brought 1,000 yaba tablets and four bottles of phensidyl from Jashore, police conducted a drive at 8:00pm at the house of Mohiuddin and arrested Mita.

A case was filed.
