Sonamasjid land port operations to remain suspend for 9 days

Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through the Sonamasjid Land Port will remain suspended for nine days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Toufiqur Rahman Babu, general secretary of Sonamasjid Land Port Export-Import Association, said the trade activities will remain closed from 9 August to 17 August on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest festival of Muslims.

The port activities will resume on 18 August.

However, immigration services through the port will remain normal during this period.
