'Excessive liquor' takes three lives

Three youths died after taking ‘excessive quantity of liquor’ at Biswa Colony Malipara in Chattogram city on Wednesday night, reports UNB.

The deceased were Biswajit Mallik, 28, Shaon Majumder Jewel, 30, and Milton Gomes, 32.

Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Akbar Shah police station, said three people fell sick after drinking liquor and two of them died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) while the other at a private hospital.

Police said they might have died due to drinking excessive quantity of liquor.
