Parents, two children die in road accident

Four members of a family were killed and two others injured in a collision between a private car and a bus at Ramgopalpur in Gauripur upazila of Mymensingh on Friday, reports UNB.

The deceased are as Rafiquzzaman, 45, a textile mill owner, his wife Najmunnahar, 40, son Nadim, 25 and daughter Raunak Jahan, 15, of Netrakona district.

The Kishoreganj-bound bus collided with the Mymensingh-bound private car around 10:30am, leaving Najmunnahar dead on the spot and five others injured, said Gauripur police officer-in-charge Quamrul Islam.

The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where physicians declared three of them dead.
