Sabbir invites PM Hasina to his wedding reception

All-rounder Sabbir Rahman on Friday invited prime minister Sheikh Hasina to his wedding reception, reports UNB.

“Sabbir Rahman along with his parents handed over the invitation card of his wedding reception to the prime minister at Ganobhaban in the evening,” PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim said.

The card contains a small cage of bird which symbolises his ‘captivity’ after the marriage, Sabbir explained to the prime minister with a smile while handing over the card to her, the press secretary added.

Ihsanul Karim said while receiving the card, Sheikh Hasina blessed Sabbir, wishing his success in the new innings of his life.

The wedding reception of Sabbir will be held on 21 August, he said.
