Bangladeshi man shot dead in New York

A Bangladeshi youth was shot dead and two others were injured in an attack by 'miscreants' at Jamaica in New York on Monday, reports UNB. 


The deceased is Shahed Uddin, 27, son of Babar Uddin, president of Mutijoddha Dal US unit, reports US-based Bangladeshi news portal Khabor.com quoting New York police.

Two rival groups locked into a scuffle in front of a night club in 130 Street Richmond Hill around 4:30 am (local time).

Shahed was shot during the scuffle and died on the spot.

Among the injured, one hails from Sylhet and another was a black man.

No-one was arrested in this connection.
