Youth’s bullet-hit body recovered

Police on Thursday recovered the bullet-hit body of a young man from the bank of the Arial Khan river in Madaripur Sadar upazila, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Sagar Fakir, 25, son of Kalam Fakir of Dargakhola area in the municipality.

Shaugatul Alam, officer-in-charge of Madaripur Sadar police station, said locals spotted the body in Maisher char area in the morning.

Later, police went to the spot and recovered the body around 9am, he said, adding the deceased was accused in 16 cases.
