Casino business: Police raid four clubs in Dhaka

The police conducted raids on the four clubs in the capital city simultaneously on Sunday.

The ‘recreation’ clubs are Arambagh, Mohammedan, Victoria and Dilkusha clubs.

Police’s Motijheel wing deputy commissioner Anwar Hossain led the drives.

Police said the drives were conducted on suspicion of running ‘illegal’ casino business at the clubs.

One of the policeman said casino equipment were found at all of the four clubs.

The police are conducting raids against the casino business across the country.
