Minor girl 'raped' in Pabna, youth detained

A four-year-old girl was raped reportedly by a teenage boy at Sultanpur village in Bhangura upazila on Sunday.

Police arrested the teenager after the incident.

Quoting family members, Masud Rana, officer-in-charge of Bhangura police station, said the teenage boy took the girl to a garden near her house after alluring her of giving her pomelo and raped the girl.

Hearing victim's screams, locals rushed in and caught the boy, aged 15. Later, he was handed over to police.

Police sent the victim to hospital for medical test.
