RAB arrests DNCC councillor Habibur Rahman

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a councillor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) as part of the ongoing drive from Sreemangal upazila of Moulvibazar early Friday, reports UNB.

The arrested is Habibur Rahman Mizan, councillor of DNCC’s ward no. 32.

Tipped off, a team of RAB-9 conducted a drive in the area and arrested him while he was trying to flee the country, said ASP Mizanur Rahman, deputy director of RAB headquarters.
