Tuhin’s father, two others sent to jail

The father of five-year-old Tuhin Hasan, who was murdered at Kezaura village in Dirai upazila of Sunamganj district, and two others were sent to jail on Friday at the end of their three-day remand, reports UNB.

Tuhin's father Abdul Basir, uncle Abdur Musabbir, and Jamshed Ali were produced before the chief judicial magistrate court which sent the trio to jail, said Mahbubur Rahman, Sunamganj additional superintendent of police.

On 15 October, Tuhin's father, uncle, and neighbour Jamshed were sent on a three-day remand in connection with the murder.

The minor boy was murdered to frame their rivals, said Sunamganj police chief Mizanur Rahman.

Tuhin's mutilated body was found hanging from a tree on Monday morning. Two knives used in the murder were also found stuck in his abdomen.

His mother Monira Begum filed a murder case accusing 10 people on Tuesday.
