4 bodies recovered in three districts

Police recovered four bodies, including that of a teenage girl, from Natore, Dinajpur and Kurigram on Saturday, reports UNB.

In Natore, police recovered the body of a college girl hanging from a tree in Noldanga upazila.

The deceased was identified as Tamanna Tia, daughter of Abdur Rashid of Shomspara village in Bagmara upazila.

Police said she was abducted from her house on Friday night by Shanto, the cousin of Sheelmaria union parishad chairman Sajjad Hossain.

In Dinajpur, police recovered the body of madrasa teacher Ariful Islam, 35, from Uthraloi Mollapara area.

Redwanur Rahim, officer-in-charge of Kotwali police station, said the body was found hanging inside a room.

A case was filed in this regard.

In Kurigram, police recovered the body of Amjad Hossain, 42, from a pond in Taltola Paikpara village of Rajarhat upazila.

Rajarhat police station's OC Krishna Kumar said the body did not have any injury marks. Amjad's family members claimed he was mentally impaired.

An unnatural death case was filed at Rajarhat police station.

Meanwhile, the body of Raja Mia, 35, son of Abul Hossain was recovered from a paddy field beside the Nageshwari-Fulbari road in the district. The cause of his death is unclear.
