Law enforcement agencies are conducting drives to detain the person who hacked Facebook account of Bhola’s Biplob Chandra Baidya, after identifying him with the help of Facebook authorities in Singapore.

“The person who hacked the Facebook account of Bhola’s Biplob Chandra Baidya has been identified. Police along with other law enforcement agencies are conducting operations to arrest the hacker,” public relations officer of home ministry Sharif Mahmud Apu told BSS on Thursday.

He said the Facebook authorities in Singapore provided information to Bangladesh government about the person who hacked the Facebook account of Biplob Chandra Baidya recently in Bhola.

Apu, however, expected that the law enforcement agencies will be able to arrest the hacker within two or three days.

Earlier, the hacker spread hate conversations among locals in Bhola’s Borhanuddin upazila by hacking Biplob’s Facebook account.
