Youth found dead in Cumilla

Police recovered the body of a young man, who went missing on Saturday evening, from the Gomti River in Burichang upazila of Cumilla on Sunday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali, 23, son of certain Joynal Abedin of Chanpur village in Debidwar upazila.
Locals spotted Ali’s body floating on the river in the morning and informed police, said sub-inspector Shahin Alam of Devpur Police Outpost in Burichang.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy, the SI added.
