Three electrocuted in Rajbari

Three people died from electrocution at Purbo Balia village in Pangsha upazila on Monday.

The deceased are Jahanara Begum, 50, wife of Alam Sheikh, Mithila, 11, daughter of Mithu Sheikh and Sheuli, 14, daughter of Mohmamd Salek of the village.

|Upazila nirbahi officer Rafiqul Islam said an electric wire snapped on a pond when five people were taking bath, leaving all injured.

Later, they were taken to the upazila health complex where physicians declared the trio dead.
