JSC examinee drowns in Bay of Bengal

An examinee of Junior School Certificate (JSC) drowned in Bay of Bengal while bathing at Sugandha Point of Cox's Bazar on Friday noon, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Sakirul Alam Hridoy, 15, son of Md Shajahan of ward No. 9 of the municipality. He was a JSC examinee from Poura Preparatory High School this year.

Executive magistrate (tourism cell) Musa Chowdhury said some boys crossed the danger point ignoring warnings. Hridoy went missing around 2:00pm.

Later, his body was recovered by the life guard members.
