A group of SSC examinees of Abu Torab High School on Tuesday vandalised the school property after failing in the Test examinations in Mirsarai of Chattogram.

School principal Marzina Akhtar filed a case with Mirsarai police station against 12 people including six named in this connection on Wednesday.
According to the school authorities, 164 students from science, business, and humanities groups took part in the Test examinations among which 98 passed.
A group of students suddenly entered the school premises after the result was published on Tuesday and vandalised three classrooms, a bathroom, the principal’s room and the Shaheed Minar, the authorities said.
Authorities also said the loss in the incident was estimated to be more than Tk 200,000.
Marzina Akhtar also said a three-member committee was formed to look into the incident.
Mirsarai police officer in-charge Zahidul Kabir confirmed the incident and said legal action will be taken against the people involved.
