Abrar murder: Police to file charge sheet against 25

Police will submit the charge-sheet in the Abrar murder case to the court on Wednesday.

A number of 25 persons have been mentioned in the charge-sheet, according to the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Joint commissioner of DMP (DB), Mahbub Alam, has confirmed this.

The Detective Branch will hold a press conference over the killing of Abrar Fahad around 12:00pm at its media centre at Mintoo Road in the capital, said the DMP media wing.

Abrar Fahad, 21, a second year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology was allegedly beaten to death by the leaders and activists of BCL, student wing of the ruling Awami League, at Sher-e-Bangla Hall on 7 October.
