Brahmanbaria train crash toll rises to 18

The death toll has risen to 18 in the deadly train accident that took place between two trains at Mandabhag, Kasba in Brahmnbaria on 12 November.
Dholai Miah, from Bublakhal of Habiganj, succumbed to his injuries at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital on 17 November, according to Yunusur Rahman, director of the hospital.
Dholai Miah and three others among the injured have been undergoing treatment at the hospital, Yunusur said.
Another injured died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Saturday afternoon. Nine injured passengers have been undergoing treatment there.
The death of the passenger, Harijon, 40, was confirmed by Abdullah Ibn Zaid, the director of Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR).
