PM leaves Dubai for home

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina left Dubai for home on Tuesday wrapping up her four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the Dubai Air Show 2019.

An Emirates flight carrying the prime minister and her entourage departed from Dubai International Airport at 4:45pm (local time).

Bangladesh ambassador to the UAE Muhammad Imran saw her off at the airport.

The flight carrying Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11pm today (Tuesday).

The prime minister attended the air show on Sunday at the invitation of vice president and prime minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Hasina while addressing a dinner arranged in her honour by the Bangladesh embassy urged UAE investors to invest in various sectors in Bangladesh to boost the bilateral trade.
