Mymensingh’s rail communication restored after 4 hrs
Mymensingh’s rail communication with Dhaka, Chattogram was restored on Thursday evening after four hours of disruption following derailment of a compartment of a train in Bhairab of Kishoreganj, reports UNB.
Ferdous Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Bhairab railway police station, said the rail communication on the route resumed around 4:30pm.
AKM Quamruzzaman, station master of Bhairab railway station, a wheel of Chattogram-bound Nasirabad Express train derailed around 1pm when it was crossing Jagannathpur area of Bhairab, snapping rail communication of Mymensingh with Dhaka and Chattogram.
A relief train from Akhaura reached the spot and restored the rail communication.
