Youth stabbed dead by ‘friend’

A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friend in Halishahar area in Chattogram on Thursday afternoon, reports UNB.

Police arrested the alleged killer, Md Saddam, after the incident.

Agitated Saddam stabbed his friend Irfan around 3:00pm as he slapped him four days ago over an altercation between them, said Halishahar police officer-in-charge SM Obaidur Rahman. 

Irfan died on the way to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, OC said, adding that they arrested Saddam with the help of locals.
