Man gunned down in Rangamati

A man from ethnic minority community was shot dead by his rivals in Mogban area of Sadar upazila in Rangamati 

on Sunday, reports UNB.

The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.

Rangamati superintendent of police Alamgir Kabir said a team of police will visit the spot.

Locals said Bikram Chakma, a member of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samiti was gunned down by his rivals following a dispute over sharing of money collected for celebration of 22nd anniversary of Chittagong Hill Tracts Peace Accord.
