ACC files case against ex-RHD chief engineer Firoz for graft

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday filed a case against former chief engineer of Roads and Highways Department (RHD) Firoz Iqbal for accumulating wealth worth Tk 6,450,000 illegally, reports UNB.

ACC deputy director Shahin Ara Momtaj filed the case with its head office in the city.

During the investigation, the ACC found Tk 15.70 million in bank accounts of Firoz and later he withdrew and transferred money from the accounts.

He was accused of amassing wealth worth Tk 6,450,000 illegally and laundering money.
