Two men electrocuted in Pirojpur

Two workers died from electrocution at Ekri village in Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur on Thursday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Alamin, 35, and Ibrahim Matubbar, 45.

Maksudur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Mothbaria Police Station, said the two workers came in contact with a live electric wire when they were cleaning water-hyacinth with a rod in a pond.
Both of them died on the spot, he added.
