6 injured in Chattogram gas cylinder blast

Six people suffered burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion near a shipbreaking yard at Saltgola intersection in Chattogram city on Thursday night.

The injured are Osman Gani, Rajib Das, Rakib, Nurul Alam, Enayet and Azam, reports news agency UNB.

Nurul Huda, officer-in-charge of Chattogram EPZ police station, said the explosion took place near the workshop of Western Marine Ship Yard Ltd around 11:30pm, leaving six workers injured.

The injured were taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
