Two Bangladeshi fishermen who were picked up by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) from Farhadpur Nirmalchar in Godagari upazila, Rajshahi on Thursday were sent back on Friday, reports UNB.

The victims were identified as Abdur Rahim, 55, and Omar Ali, 32, of Premtoli Kathalbaria village in the upazila.

The two were handed over to Bangladesh through a company commander-level flag meeting between BSF and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at Bhatopara of the border in the afternoon, said Premtoli BGB camp company commander Farid Hossain.

Nayan Ali, member of ward No. 1 of Matikata union parishad, said the BSF men from Tikna Char camp picked them up forcibly while returning home from the Padma river through Nirmalchar area on Thursday afternoon.
