3 more detained for entering from India

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Sunday morning detained three more people from bordering Lebutala area in Maheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah for entering Bangladesh from India without valid travel documents, reports UNB.

The detained, including two women, claimed that they are Bangladeshis and they went to India different times for treatment and work, said a press release of Maheshpur BGB battalion 58.

In November, BGB said, it detained 260 people for crossing the border from India illegally.
