Another bomb explodes on Dhaka University campus

Another crude bomb exploded near the Madhur Canteen on the Dhaka University campus on Sunday morning, reports news agency UNB.

The bomb went off when Jatiyatabadi Chhtra Dal (JCD), the student wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, was holding a rally at the foot of Aparajeya Bangla on the campus.

The bomb exploded around 11:10pm, said the university’s proctor professor AKM Golam Rabbani.

No one was injured in the incident.

Earlier on 30 December, a crude bomb explosion was reported from near the Madhur Canteen which left a canteen employee injured.

On 29 December, three crude bombs exploded near the Madhur Canteen.

Earlier a live crude bomb was recovered from near the Madhur Canteen on 26 December.
