Online registration for Mujib Borsho countdown begins today

The online registration for participating in the opening ceremony of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary countdown programme will begin today.

The announcement was made at a press briefing organised at the office of Bangabandhu’s Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee, reports UNB.

Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, chief coordinator of the committee, made the announcement.

Professor Rafiqul Islam, chairman of the national implementation committee, education minister Dipu Moni and deputy minister for education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, among others, attended the event.

“Anyone can register at www. event.mujib100.gov.bd between 3pm of 6 January and midnight of 7 January. The participant has to provide name, national ID number, mobile phone number and e-mail address to complete the registration,” Kamal Abdul Naser said.

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to inaugurate the countdown to Mujib Borsho, celebrating the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 10 January.
