Chhatra Dal leader killed in Dinajpur

A local leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Party's student front Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) was hacked to death by miscreants in Bochaganj upazila of Dinajpur on Friday night, reports UNB.

The deceased identified as Moznur Rahman Moznu, 35, general secretary of the upazila unit JCD, was from Dhontola village of the upazila.

Ayub Ali, officer-in-charge of Bochaganj police station, said they recovered the body around midnight.

The identities of the killers and their motive are still unknown, he said, adding that they are investigating the incident.
