Bus driver killed in Jashore road crash

A driver was killed and 15 people were injured in a head-on collision between two buses on Navaran-Satkhira road at Harikeni in Sharsha upazila of Jashore on Wednesday, reports UNB.

Details of the victim were not available.

A Faridpur-bound picnic bus of ‘Green Bangla Paribahan’ carrying schoolboys and teachers from Satkhira hit another bus coming from the opposite direction around 7:30am, leaving one killed and 15 others injured, said in-charge of Navaran Highway Police Outpost, SI Zahirul Haque.

Of the injured, four were sent to Jashore Medical College Hospital.
